Outside Fitting Complete

Hi all -

1st Of October and a rainy Grand Final Day - *** GO CATS ***

Big Day for my Beloved Scotland Rugby Team in the RWC today as well...
We are having to win against the Auld enemy to progress ( England who else .. stoopid ) in Auckland .. all going well i'm going to have the mother of all hangovers tommorrow.
OK either way i'm going to have the mother of all Hangovers !!

Got quite a surprise seeing the Floorboards Laid..

Fantastic love it, great .. couldn't get in . so the photos are Taken from the Outside.

Henley fitted the Carpets as well , couldn't get a good shot but they look great as well.

One step at a time

Been about 1 month since we last posted something on the Blog.

Lots and Lots been happening at the house, but its now all the small detail.

We haven't been inside for a while so there isn't many photos of the inside progress.

Well Folks, alot has been happening.
There has been a huge clear up and at last all that excess earth from the Slab foundations has been taken away from the front.

Happy with the Colour choice Jasper for downpipes

Happy again with taps and Bowl choice - Can'y wait to get some colourful accesories in there

Brickies are Done :-)

Bit late in uploading but the brickies have finished at last.

We are very happy with the decision to go for the Boral selection (Kurrajong), goes great with everything.

The front has still to be rendered which are the bits standing out at the base of the garage posts, and the front of the Master bedroom are ( Big Posts ) basically all the bricks that have not been cleaned and look a bit messy..!! that should bring the front of the house together nicely.
If you look closely the Junction boxes have all been fitted for future fitting of out door wall lights.

Good to see the Cornice all done really brings it all together. Theres a Tradesman been in for a few days whos task it is is to finish of the plaster , rub down and prepare for the painter.

Wall insulation in & Plaster Done

Well the Plastering ( minus the cornices ) completed 13/07/2011.

Brickies are about 3 weeks behind now, Henley say they have no problem doing the internals without bricks, all seems OK.. all was watertight before the plaster and insulation went in so that shouldn't be an issue.

Bricks Delivered

The bricks were delivered on Friday 3/06, these pictures are taken on Saturday.
The excess earth at the front has been levelled for the time being.
Its all starting to really take shape
