Anyway on my way to work i noticed a whole heap of Rebar mesh getting delivered Tuesday ( 17/05 ), thought, "you Beauty the slabs going in this week!!", on my way home noticed that nothing had been done.. ;-( found out later that this day was the day they put in all the Termite protection for the house.. ? don't ask, i have no idea why they would do that at this stage.. i thought the old white ant was partial to Wood .. not concrete :-) LOL, we'll leave that to the experts..
Hats of to the Conctrete / slab formers though, apparantly from Good authority ( Nancy at 73 ) they arrived at 6:45am , and when i drove buy after work ( 5:45pm ) they were still there, i counted about 12 of them..
They were obviously on a mission to get the slab in before the weekend and make the most of this great weather we're having..
This Friday 20/05, Odile, Matthew and Jarrod T ( they had a School Closure day ) walked round to have a look, these are from Nancy's drive.
